• No banners are allowed - this includes link exchange banners as well as commercial banner ads. Since the site is paid for by our banner ads, only we can sell ad space on the site.
• Commercial Usage - Limited commercial usage is permitted. Persons selling hand crafted items made by themselves may promote or sell your products if desired. No large scale commercial usage is permitted.
• Non compete - Since we are a commercial site, no web sites selling or promoting competitive products are allowed (i.e. - no selling of supplies or books for making candles, soap, leather craft, chocolate making, incense, or plaster crafting). This prohibition does not apply to made or finished products in these categories.
• No offensive material - Including, but not limited to: pornography, hate, racism, bigotry, etc...
• No sites commiting or endorsing any illegal acts are permitted. This includes copyright violations.
• No foul language.
• Affiliate programs - You are free to include links to affiliate programs (including ours if you wish) on your site. These must be text links only though. Please note that this is not actually a disadvantage as text links tend to work better.
• No spamming - We want nothing to do with anyone who sends unsolicited email. Any member found to be sending unsolicited email will have their membership revoked immediately - no exceptions.
• No cgi access - For security reasons we cannot allow anyone to access the server's cgi bin.
• No server side scripting.
• Client side scripting (i.e. - such as javascript) is allowed.
• We reserve the right to remove any usage that places abnormal drain on server resources.

We provide:

• Web space - In order to conserve storage space on our server this is limited initially, however you can request additional space as your site grows.
• Page Templates - A large selection of professionally designed page templates is available for your use if desired. This will help you get your web site online very fast if you are a beginner.
• Online page editors - Two online page editors are available from your administration area. One works only with Internet Explorer, the other will work with any web browser although it is not as simple to use.
• File upload - A simple to use browser based upload can be used for those who wish to design their pages with their own editor.
• Forms - Easily add forms to your site for visitor feedback, ordering, etc...
• Message board - each site has the option of hosting its own message board.
• Guest book - each site has the option of hosting its own guest book.
• Calendar - each site has the option of hosting its own event calendar. If you wish this may be made a public calendar (your events will appear on the group's main calendar as well).
• The pages will be served with banner ads to offset the cost of hosting your pages. We try to keep these as unobtrusive as possible, however a banner free site is available for a nominal fee (2.00 per month) - click here for details.
